Advanced: instrument character, tempo
Chill is lower, smoother and built on long tones, for listening in the background. Melodic has more rise and fall and pulls you in.
Auto plays the melody on synths for electronic styles (EDM, house, trap, and so on) and on natural instruments such as piano, guitar, and vibraphone for everything else. Instrument samples are loaded only when first needed.
Sound (advanced): softness, bass calmness, record noise
Softness is reduced more for higher notes, so raise it if high notes feel harsh.
The 4 bass tones below tend to come out louder than the rest, so you can trim each one individually.
If one sound bothers you, turn down just that part. Changes apply immediately while playing.
These settings apply only to Radio and Groove Journey — Studio's output is unaffected.

Layers a record-noise sound in parallel. It never touches the music itself, so sound quality is unaffected. It's part of the genome, so it moves along with mutation and crossbreeding too.
Part levels
Levels for drums, bass, backing, and riff, plus the natural instrument samples (vibraphone, marimba, and so on in the riff). Changes apply immediately while playing. Affects Radio and Groove Journey.
